What DIG Looks Like
Visitors with visual impairments may find this description useful.
DIG is located in the historic St Saviour’s Church building on St Saviourgate. As you approach DIG from the city centre, you will see the tall stone tower with battlements and large arched windows ahead of you.
The entrance to DIG is at street level and is clearly marked with signs showing the DIG logo and images of children taking part in archaeological activities. There are members of staff who are usually on hand to welcome visitors.
DIG is housed inside the old church, with its pale stone walls and impressive stained glass windows easily visible from the street.
