YourDIG

YourDIG is a series of collaborative exhibitions showcasing a range of community-led initiatives from across York and North Yorkshire.

Funded through the Museum Resilience scheme, in association with Arts Council England, YourDIG enables communities to showcase their work and commitment to their own heritage for the benefit of the wider public.

How to Get Involved

York Archaeology has a commitment to broadening access to history and heritage for all, by inspiring local people to find out more about the archaeology of their area.

Our dedicated Community Engagement team works with partners from across Yorkshire and further afield to facilitate a range of community-led initiatives.

We build on a track record of excellence in public archaeology and engagement that goes back more than 40 years.
